COVID-19 – Measures put forward by Groupe Polyalto Inc.

In this period of uncertainty, and in connection with all efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, we would like to inform you of the measures put forward by Groupe Polyalto.

Following the new measures announced yesterday by the Government of Quebec, we would like to inform you
that we are still open.

However, please note that our opening hours will be modified from March 25, 2020, until further notice. We will now be open Monday to
Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Here is some information about these measures:

Current situation summary

  1. To date, no cases have been reported in our immediate environment, so our operations are not disrupted.
  2. Following the new measures announced yesterday by the Government of Quebec, we would like to inform you
    that we are still open.
  3. Communications with our suppliers do not suggest any disruption in the functioning of the current supply chain.
  4. Our large inventories are kept up-to-date on a daily basis and minimum quantities are revised upwards for products with longer replacement cycles. There are no additional delivery times for orders in process.
  5. Our extensive network of suppliers is spread among a wide variety of geographical areas.

Measures taken to limit the impact on our operations

  1. Our retail stores in Quebec City and Montreal will be closed to the public from Wednesday, March 18, 2020, until further notice.
  2. Retail teams will be reassigned to allow us to quickly respond to calls and requests received by email, without any interruption of service.
  3. Order entries will be done by email and telephone at the modified opening hours, from 8 am. to 4:30 pm. Monday to Friday inclusively.
  4. We recently published a web page dedicated to the COVID-19 crisis (https://groupe.polyalto.com/en/covid19). This page will allow us to communicate the latest updates concerning our measurements.
  5. We implement all the measures recommended by both levels of government (federal and provincial) to minimize the risk of spread within our community and our clientele.
  6. We temporarily suspend all external training, presentations/technical workshop for customers and meetings with suppliers.
  7. Physical contacts between departments are kept to a minimum to reduce the risks associated with the spread of COVID-19 and thus remain operational despite the crisis
