The majority of nylons such as NYCAST 6PA and 6PA MoS2 have basic characteristics such as good wear and compression resistance that allow them to perform in a wide range of applications and in many industries such as construction, machinery manufacturing or natural resources, etc.

In environments such as bulk transport with conveyor chains, some parts are subjected to a lot of stress and friction. NYLOIL, NYLOIL MDX or NYCAST RX/GX/BX have additives and are self-lubricating and therefore reduce friction while having a better resistance to wear. This results in longer periods between maintenance.

NYLOIL® FG and NYCAST® 6PA FG are perfect substitutes for stainless steel due to their compliance with the requirements of agencies such as the FDA and have advantageous characteristics in environments where sanitation is important such as the food industry and the medical field.

Some sectors such as the oil and gas industries are looking for a material with a very high degree of toughness. They will focus on materials with high dimensional stability and above average impact resistance. It is in this context that NYCAST® CP 6/12 and NYCAST® 6MP stand out.

High temperatures can be a barrier to the conception of certain parts! However, there are alternatives such as NYCAST® XHA which can withstand temperatures up to 120°C (250℉). It is therefore possible to design bearings, bushings or gears that will be able to operate at restrictive temperatures.
